The Getaway:

  • $3460 SINGLE OCCUPANCY total

  • $5450 DOUBLE OCCUPANCY total

The Getaway Premium*:

  • $3985 SINGLE OCCUPANCY total

  • $5950 DOUBLE OCCUPANCY total

  • *Premium offerings are limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Premium guests get the best rooms at the various hotels we’ll be staying at, including a private massage session in Comporta.

Includes:

  • Every day of the Getaway includes breakfast, as we will be on the go, most lunch stops will be discretionary (suggestions provided), 3+ dinners also included.

  • A curated itinerary which includes a mix of history, food & culture.

  • Premium accommodations at some of Cynthia’s fave stays.

  • All itinerary transportation and all arrival and departure transportation if you arrive and return on Getaway start and end dates.

  • Pre-arranged photography to capture some Getaway moments.

Not included:

  • Flights, trip insurance, some meals (see above), extracurriculars, shopping expenses, gratuities

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFO: Please note payments made via credit will incur a 3% surcharge. Arrangements can be made to accept payment via Zelle, Venmo, Paypal etc. Payment plans are also available. All payments will be due 90 days prior to Getaway. As this is a high season trip, staying at popular destinations and hotels, working with high volume tour operators, while all efforts would be made to accommodate last minute changes, please note that refunds will generally not be available beyond this date.

IMPORTANT FLIGHT LOGISTICS:

  • We are starting in Lisbon and ending in Lagos. The closest airport to Lagos is Faro airport and we have a shuttle that will take people there. If you want to backtrack back to Lisbon, that’s also fine, we have shuttle to take people back the 2.5 hr journey to Lisbon airport. Please just keep that in mind when looking at flights. For example if you want to fly out of Lisbon, choose either a flight later in the day or a flight the next day.

  • I also encourage those who have the time to either come a few days early and experience the North of Portugal, (Porto, Costa Nova, Aveiro, Douro Valley and Coimbra which made the NYTimes 52 places to visit list). Unfortunately, with only 7 days, it would be very difficult to add all that to our itinerary without turning it into a mad rush.

  • Another suggestion is extending your stay in Lagos, checking out nearby Faro and maybe even driving to Seville, Spain- an under 3 hr drive. Lots of travel companies offer inexpensive rides to Seville.

  • Point is, the time is now to start thinking about your flights and how you would like your itinerary before and after the Getaway to go. Whether you do more or less, I feel confident that there’ll be more than enough brilliant moments in The Getaway to leave you feeling FULL.

  • Visiting Iconic sites like Alfama, Torre De Belem, Cristo Rei, Palais Pena and getting an African Heritage & History in Lisbon tour.

  • Shopping Lisbon’s hidden boutiques and uncovering even more unique art and design in Comporta and Lagos

  • Tuktuk tours, wine tours, grotto tours, and a few surprises in between

  • It won’t just be go, go, there’ll be opportunity to relax, lay out on the beach and maybe even a massage here and there.

  • Portuguese Culinary faves from seafood to Pasteis De Nata whether on cobblestone streets or rooftops
