WEEKEND X STELLA

Summer. The favorite season for so many people, for so many reasons. First, it's super warm, you get to go to the beach, you get backyard barbecues, you get to leave the window down or the top down.

One of the things that I love the most about summer in the city is actually being able to step away for a little bit. To leave it all behind, drop everything and saunter off on an adventure for the day, or weekend.  There are so many gems to discover within driving distance from NYC.

This stop was a weekend drive to the North Fork of Long Island to some much needed rest and relaxation.  But of course I had to leave room for a few of my favorite things. So I packed up, bathing suit, road snacks, a sunhat and a cooler filled with water and Stella Artois. Stella Artois is a staple in my home- it's our go to beer for ourselves and for guests. But on these warm summer days, we have made the switch to Stella Artois Cider. If you haven't tried it yet- you're in for a treat. It's oh so refreshing with just the right amount of sweet and delightfully crisp- almost as if they figured out a perfectly balanced way to bring together beer and bubbly and definitely perfectly suited for moments like these.

Thing is, there’s nothing like being with your favorite people or person and just stopping everything for a moment, taking the time, to take it all in, to breathe, to taste, to smell, to be in the moment. With the smell of the ocean and sea breeze, a glass in hand, I'm one happy gal.
