All I wanted was to listen to some Lauryn, don’t even know how I started my journey down that youtube rabbit hole but glad I did. As we all know, very few people can do justice to Lauryn Hill, so I was more than pleasantly surprised by JP Cooper. You can tell this man sings with his soul, with every part of his being. This is the kind of music that brings me to tears, wishing that in my next life, I could do even a fraction of this with my voice. Although, maybe it did, don’t listen to the radio that much anymore.
