NOW LISTENING: NONAME

There’s been quite some underground buzz about this artist over the past 3 years or so. I’m only now just discovering her and I love her track “Yesterday”- reportedly written after her granny’s death made her question the important things in life- not fame or fortune:

The magazine covers drenched in gold
The dreams of granny in mansion and happy
The little things I need to save my soul

She was at SXSW this year and hopefully we’ll hear more from this poet, rapper, singer – Noname.
