Some people just seem to exist and connect with life on a very different level. This Malian Singer-songwriter and guitarist has a way about that her that makes you believe that she gets it, that she sees it, feels it and understands it. She makes beautiful music, unbothered by any pretense or external pressures.  She’s actually not a newbie, and has been making music since the 1990’s, winning several awards across Europe. I only just started listening to her more and connecting more with her music which spans a wide range of influences and styles.  If only we could all be so pure and unapologetically naked & real.

Nobody leaves home (their loves, their culture, their family) because they want to, they leave because they have to.  That’s the refugee story.
