NOW LISTENING: ZAKI IBRAHIM

This Canadian born South African/Scottish chick just has that super cool energy. I can't quite pin down her sound, its a mix of a lot of good things: 90's pop, dance, r&b. She's got the same kind of energy I loved with Neneh Cherry (remember her?). She's got cool style too. Our Canadian friends may be more familiar with her as she's apparently won some awards over there and has built quite a following as well. Thanks to Afromuzik for putting me on.

Check out her fun, colorful, tongue in cheek, almost kind of throwback vid, there's more Vogue-ing in this one than in Madonna's Vogue. Loves it. Oh and I can't be the only one who finds her gap so completely adorable.
