CLASSICS: THE WIDE LEG PANT

The wide leg pant is such a classic look, I wonder why more people don’t wear them. I literally had to ask my girlfriends. Many shared that they love the look on models and in magazines but in real life there are always a few concerns. Some of those concerns are what shoes to wear it with, how to make sure to have the right length, whether they look better as a low rise or as a high waist pant.

The truth is everything goes. While I paired these Ann Taylor Marina pants with sandals, they could have very well worked really nicely with a pair of sneakers. At this length, the wide leg pant elicits a certain kind of casual elegance. I also dared to go white- a welcome challenge in a city like NYC- where an accident, a spill, a bird accident is at every corner.
