HAPPY MONDAY: IT's BEEN A WHILE

For those of you who have been on here for a while, you know that a Happy Monday post was a standard. I also had my Women Crush Wednesdays aka Who's that Girl and Friday Now Listening. I really hope I can return to that form of discipline with my posting. It's not that I don't want to put out posts in that manner any longer, it's just that it sometimes feels like I'm going all too fast and don't get a chance to fully form my ideas or think things through like I used to. I'm working real hard on getting back to the core of things.

In the interim, I just returned from my 4th trip this year so far with another one planned very soon. Yes, I'm still holding down my full time job, there is no day off that doesn't lead to a 3 day weekend trip. Sometimes, I actually do have to take days off, so I always plan well ahead and get all my stuff done.

Talking about work, NY& CO. has been killing it lately with their celeb collabs. First there was the Eva Mendes collection and more recently the Gabrielle Union collection. I love them both and I have to say the Gabrielle collection is so perfectly work wardrobe appropriate. The right touch of elegance, serious business with a sexy edge, but nothing over the top, still appropriately conservative for the office. I'm especially leaning into the pants.
