GOOD EATS: MONTREAL BRUNCH
My new favorite would have to be Regine Cafe. If you can, let that be your first brunch stop. There might have been healthier things on the menu, but I really knew I was going to be going for the french toast, so didn't pay much attention to anything else. Can you believe how thick those slices are? I also greatly enjoyed the hubby's plate, if I remember correclty it was called Le Gros Jambon (the big ham). Every single bite on both our plates were super tasty.
A good backup brunch stop would be Prohibition. To be completely honest, I have had better pancakes, but these ricotta pancakes with blueberry were still very yum. They subbed french toast for waffles with their fried chicken dish. I wanted to take the little maple syrup bottles. We do eat with our eyes and this presentation was perfect lil' feast for mine.
