Exchange

It's been a little over 8 years since I participated in BUNAC's work abroad for a year program.
I worked in North London and it had to be one of the best experiences of my life.
Me and 6 housemates.
There's just some things you have to do when you're younger.
I could barely take one roommate these days, much less 6.
A house full of young and rowdy people. There were 2 London gals, 2 brazilian guys (they didn't last long and surprisingly were not as much fun as the rest of us had hoped, 1 Aussie and 1 Kiwi (NZ).
This is a really long way to get to my point, basically- I was checking the exchange rate and realized how little I could afford if I took my US dollars to the UK.
I almost wish I were doing my work year there now,
cos then I would return to the US with the mighty POUND.
And making me even more pissed is that with finally affordable international shipping, there's so much you can get from UK shops, too bad the exchange rate is killer.
Case in point:
Fashion Conscience which carries cool brand Fair & True and their African inspired collection.

Priced from $63 (USD) and up.
Not bad, but ummm yeah.
Anyone spare a quid?
