Extraseed is a small company (and by small, I mean a one person team) based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that carefully sources environmentally positive materials and creates small batches of limited edition shoes.

Extraseed is dedicated to making a difference in the way we think about green.  Being green doesn't have to be boring and or expensive.  There has been a tradition in Africa to resuse and recycle and  before being green became the fashionable thing to do.

Extraseed creator explains her plans for the future:

"My plan for the future is very clear. I want to create fair and equitable jobs to my community. You can make poverty history if you give people fair and equitable jobs. To me trade is the key to end poverty. If you want to help Africa help Africa trade more."
