When did you start selling on Etsy and Why Etsy?
I've always wanted to start a jewelry shop on Etsy but never had the time working overtime constantly in architecture. When things slowed down with the economy in a bad spot, I found myself with extra time to start my shop.

Is this a full time gig for you?
My shop is more of a hobby for me. I really enjoy making jewelry and am amazed when someone wants to wear my piece of art! I am a designer and architecture student studying at the Southern California Institute of Architecture for my masters. I constantly am exploring new technologies and fabrication methods, but there is still something so special to me about handmade that the computer cannot achieve.


What is your personal fav creation?

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to finish school, I have 3 more semesters to go. I would really like to pursue my shop full time and grow into a steady business. I also want to incorporate 3d printing and laser cutting into my shop. I think the juxtaposition of technology in combination with hand made could be interesting.

Where is your workspace? 
I work out of my loft located in the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles. I just moved in the beginning of the month and I love it!

For fun, what's on your playlist?

On my playlists currently are: Cut Copy - Zonoscope, Midnight Juggernauts - The Crystal Axis, Caribou - Swim and anything by Depeche Mode, The Smiths and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Too many to list!!
