Perfect for Alchemy?

So, one of the coolest features on Etsy just so happens to be Alchemy.  I had been using Etsy for over a year before I discovered this option.  Been looking for opportunity to use it.

Alchemy basically works like this:
"Buyers can post requests for custom handmade items, and then sellers bid on the opportunity to make the goods... It's your opportunity to collaborate with a crafter or artisan to get exactly what you're seeking." You can go here, for more rules on how to use Alchemy.

How amazing is that necklace?  When I saw it, I thought to the cool crystal necklaces I had spotted on Etsy, like these below:

Generally, I would convo with specific seller to see if they could work on custom item that suits my exact needs.  All of the above are great, but after seeing the Tom Ford version, I began thinking bigger- I like the look of a bigger crystal- (most above are smaller in size, #6, #8 and #9 appear to be quite large tho').

NOTE: Alchemy can't be used to request knockoffs or duplicates of another works.  So you can't ask for knockoff but as with most design, you can be inspired by other pieces or make enough design changes to create your own unique piece.

THE DEAL: With Alchemy, I can describe what I want in detail and how much I am willing to pay.  Then, I wait and see what offers I get from sellers.  Kinda liking that plan. What say you?
