Saving $$$ on that special day
This goes out to all the ladies who entered the WEDDING DRESS GIVEAWAY. That giveaway is now over and we'll find out tomorrow who gets the dress. But I thought I should share some things I learned last year. Weddings can so easily get out of hand not just emotionally or physically but mostly financially. I realized early that I had to make some concessions if I was going to have any chance of avoiding utter brokedom. At the same time, I didn't want to sacrifice style for a day that was that important.
Here's a few things I was able to do and some of the resources Etsy provided me.
Sometimes you can make the biggest impact with smallest details.
We filled mason jars with candy the color of our wedding colors, and got handcrafted soaps wrapped in fabric of our choice with little personalized thank you tags.

We actually purchased the pdf design of table numbers and printed them ourselves. Saved us a lot of money, not necessarily time. If you can't be bothered with printing and cutting, you can get a custom one made for you from a multitude of vendors.
