I know so many of us are starting to have flash sale & deal site fatigue, what with Gilt, Rue La La, Groupon, Living Social, One Kings Lane to name just a very few.  I had to cancel most of the email alerts as they were clogging my email and it's almost become a chore to check them out. SO probably the last thing, you'd want would be some other site offering you additional ways to spend your cash.

Well, I'll share these two anyways as I think they could be helpful especially for your holiday shopping...that is, if you haven't already gone on strike and decided that this year, there'll be no gifting. Just in case you change your mind, or maybe cos you're curious, check out Open Sky and Wantful.

Wantful is quite a cool concept. Based on the interests of your gift recipient, you can create a personalized catalogue that gets printed and mailed to them.  You will indicate your budget, so that all the items in catalogue fit your budget. The gift recipient can then in turn order anything from catalogue, (no prices listed in catalogue) and that's what they get. it's one of those things that really about presentation and making the process a little more special. 

Open Sky is more of a recommendation based site. Celebs, chefs, industry insiders let you in on the newest, coolest stuff. Some of it is a little on the pricey side, but I found a lot of unique and cool gifts for fam and friends. I especially love the layer cake slicer, I don't bake nearly enough to warrant it, but I know so many bakers who would love this. I also like the aqua zinger that lets you infuse your water with fruit. I wonder if it works as well as it sounds.
