The “Need to Knows”

Cancellation policy

100% deposit refund for cancellation 60+ days before The Getaway start date.
0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-59 days before The Getaway start date.

Due to the logistics and size of the retreat:

The remaining balance is due 60 days before The Getaway start date.
If you cancel within 0-59 days of the retreat, the remainder of your payment (minus the deposit) will be refunded ONLY if a replacement is found to take your place. This is because it becomes increasingly difficult and less likely as a trip of this nature approaches to find substitutes who can both pay and travel at short notice.
If due to unforeseen circumstances, The Getaway is cancelled, all payments will be returned in full.

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover the cost of your trip, including your registration. In the event that you are ill or cannot attend for allowed reasons with your travel insurance policy, you can seek reimbursement this way.

Arrival
- Airport Transfer (RAK-Jnane Tamsna) and (CMN-Jnane Tamsna) if needed.

18:30 - Welcoming ceremony with smudge sticks and drumming, recorded gospel at Dar Ylane pool, sound system
19:00 - Drinks and canapes at Dar Ylane hosted by Cynthia. MLM will be there
20:00 - Dinner in Dar Ylane - buffet and small tables in JY courtyard with African wax table clothes with decor, fire, candles, rugs, wine included

10:30 - Conversation with MLM about Marrakech history as a crossroad of diversity
11:00 - Transfer to the Medina
11:30 - Visit of the Saadian Tumbs -10mns walk away- which fascinating story is untold
12:00 - Tour of MAP museum (Monde des Arts de la Parure)
13:00 - Lunch and MAP museum (Monde des Arts de la Parure) (at own cost)
14:45 - Departure to Palais Bahia and Palais Badi 15 minutes drive away
16:45 - Walk through the iconic Jema El Fna UNESCO classified main square
17:00 - Tea and pause at Dar Dar on the roof with the best views on the old city (at own cost)
17:45 - Return to Jnane Tamsna
18:15 - Rest and relaxation - massage slot (3-4 people get a massage at once)
20:00 - Departure for dinner to an extraordinary private palace to end this day about history
20:15 - The owner, a friend of MLM, will lead the visit and talk about the history of the place and its antique collections before an exquisite dinner
21:45 - After dinner drinks at the quirky and fun Petanque Social Club (at own cost)
23:00 - Return to Jnane Tamsna

10:30 - Departure to visit YSL Museum and gardens
12:45 - Lunch at Moro an innovative concept store (at own cost)
13:45 - Free afternoon with a list of options to choose from with transport
17:00 - Gathering for tea at the legendary Hotel Mamounia with pastries by Pierre Hermé (at own cost)
18:00 - Return to Jnane Tamsna

22:00 - After dinner in other costumes the artists-acrobats perform a fire choreography reflecting in the water of the Dar Ylane pool
