REDISCOVERED

I shared recently how my fashion choices have changed and how I have become far more confident in doing whatever it is I want with my clothing. I prescribe to zero rules and I am open to shopping experiences both high street and high fashion.

As I think back, just a little bit, there was a brand that was my go-to for such a very long time. It was my constant because I always knew the fit would be on point and they always had pieces that excited me. Funny though, I only just realized that I had steered away from them over the past few years. It's so easy to get distracted cos there's always something and with online shopping, we now have access to more brands than ever before.

It took the proposal of a collaboration, for me to revisit and rediscover all the delightful pieces coming out of Express. In a matter of minutes, I found myself with an overflowing shopping cart as there was so much I wanted from two-piece sets to vacation clothing, as well as bags and shoes. But even more impressive are the special limited edition collections they're putting out.

Most recently, they launched the x Karla collection (Karla as in Karla Welch of Hollywood stylist fame). The collection includes such classic, clean curated looks for effortless style. Pieces made to be styled and paired in so many different combinations. They honestly just look and feel way more expensive than what you'd pay. And I'm sure anyone who knows me, could have predicted that the white jumpsuit was going to find its way into my closet with the quickness.

I guess the point is, it is often a good to revisit an old friend. You might be very pleasantly surprised at what you uncover.
