HAPPY MONDAY: GOING TO THE PANEL
This weekend I was invited to join a panel hosted by Print by Print Group; a celebration of photography, beauty, identity and technology. As always, when I am approached to do something remotely out of my comfort zone, my first instinct is to say No. Like most people, I get super nervous about public speaking but this time something made me say Yes and I’m soo glad I did.
It was a fun afternoon spent at Ode to Babel, a lovely space in Crown Heights, Brooklyn with so many lovely ladies. Because of the intimate space, it felt more like time with “distant cousins” than a formal panel. I was so impressed by the co-panelists especially Alexandra Henry who is directing a documentary on female graffiti and street artists around the world. I strongly urge you to check out her kickstarter page where you can watch the trailer and donate to the campaign. If you can’t donate, I encourage you to share her work.
I wore a white Club Monaco romper and platform sandals from Vince Camuto, Coach bag and watch by Leonard & Church; minimal and comfortable.
HAPPY MONDAY!!
